Cotswolds Horsebox Photography

Meet Charlie, the Cotswolds’ first horsebox photobooth experience.

Converted horsebox sat in front of Cotswold stone building, neutral colours, 'LOVE' signage and elegant wedding decor on display, including green plants and bistro table and chairs.
A cosy table setting with a chalkboard reading "Congratulations Mr & Mrs Smith," champagne, glasses, flowers, and an open notebook on a wooden table.

Add a showstopper to your big day.

Charlie is a vintage Rice of Leicestershire horsebox, lovingly restored and transformed into a one-of-a-kind, thoroughbred photobooth experience. Whether you’re tying the knot, throwing a birthday bash, or hosting a corporate do, Charlie is the ultimate crowd-pleaser, guaranteed to make your event a stable hit. Your guests will be champing at the bit to get in front of the camera!

Charlie is available to book midday to 10pm, seven days a week, and covers the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, including Cheltenham, Gloucester and parts of Oxford. Our two packages – Silver and Gold – can be tailored to suit your specific needs.

How it all works

Fill out an enquiry form and we’ll aim to get back to you within 48 hours to confirm and discuss your booking. When completing the enquiry form it’s really helpful if you provide as much detail as possible in the additional comments section.

No date, no venue? No problem

We understand that if you’re at an early stage of planning, you may not have all the details nailed down. That’s fine. We’re still more than happy to discuss your booking and pencil in a rough date to hold space in Charlie’s busy diary.

Where can Charlie go?

Within reason, Charlie can go anywhere – inside or out. If it’s inside then we need to be sure the entrance is big enough for Charlie to fit through. See How big is Charlie? on our FAQs page.

Covering the Cotswolds and more

Charlie travels across the vast majority of the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. As a general rule of thumb, Charlie will travel anywhere up to one hour-ish from the Cheltenham / Gloucester area. See Where does Charlie travel to? on our FAQs page.

When is Charlie available?

Charlie’s available to book between midday and 10pm, seven days a week, subject to availability. We’ll need to be on site an hour beforehand to set up and we’ll need half an hour after your booking to pack down. Charlie is available to book by enquiry only.

Choose the right package for you

With our Silver package, you get three hours’ unlimited use. With our Gold package, you get an extra hour and additional photos for guests to stick in the provided guest book. Both packages include a digital gallery for you and your guests to access shortly after the event. See our packages page for more.

High-quality photos printed instantly

One of our Cotswolds Horsebox Photography technicians will be on site for the duration of your booking and will guide your guests into the photobooth via Charlie’s front ramp. Inside, guests will choose from a range of props before their photos are taken by our integrated 21.4 megapixel Canon EOS R100 digital camera.

Charlie’s well-lit with ceiling lights and a ring light to ensure high-quality photos every time. Photos are printed in seconds by our DNP DS620 Professional Photo Printer.

Charlie comes with a wide range of high-quality props for you and your guests to horse around with. Wigs, hats, glasses, signs – you name it, we’ve probably got it.

I’m lucky enough to showcase the best businesses and experiences the Cotswolds has to offer. Cotswolds Horsebox Photography’s one-of-a-kind photobooth experience is like nothing I’ve seen before. It’s truly unique.

The finish and décor are quintessential Cotswolds, and you can tell a lot of love and care has gone into its restoration. It’s a definite conversation starter and can really add something special to your event.
